Then you've got to make an effort to keep your nails clean, fresh and well-painted. You don't have to fix artificial nails to have the perfect nails. Here are some few tips to having a perfect painted natural nails
1. First step is cleaning your nails with a bail brush and a mild soap
2. Dry them thoroughly and apply a light hand cream.
3. Wait until the hand cream has soaked in. Then using a nail file, file your nails down to one length even if they are really short.
4. Now rinse your hands to get rid of any dust from filing.
5. Now you're ready to paint. You can start with a base coat to stop staining or start with applying two coats of paint in any color and then add a clear top coat, when dry.
6. Every week take off the nail polish and apply cuticle cream/oil and file nails neatly.
7. Eventually they will reach the length you desire!
